The education initiative of Danphe Intelligence Lab
Danphe AI Training Institute was launched in 2025 in Kathmandu, Nepal, as the teaching arm of Danphe Intelligence Lab, an AI research company founded in 2024. The lab works on biosignal analysis, model calibration and uncertainty quantification, and Nepali-language natural language processing. We started the institute to teach the same skills we use in our own research — to students and working professionals who want more than a surface-level introduction to machine learning.
The name Danphe comes from the Himalayan Monal, Nepal's national bird — known for thriving in demanding, high-altitude conditions. It's the same name our parent lab uses, and the same idea applies to how we teach: build skills that hold up in difficult, real-world conditions, not just in a tutorial.
Danphe Intelligence Lab operates as a registered private company in Nepal, and internationally as Danphe Intelligence Lab LLC, a limited liability company registered in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA.

How we're structured
Danphe AI Training Institute is a small, founder-led institute rather than a large institution with a big administrative staff. Courses are designed and taught directly by Danphe Intelligence Lab's research team, which keeps class sizes small and curriculum closely tied to current practice. As we grow, we plan to bring on additional instructors in specific subject areas.
